Karen's Journey

Good Morning!

Hello Everyone!
Yes, it was quite a shock when I saw Sam's bald head. It doesn't look all THAT bad, but was quite a shock - just like mine, I'm sure. Now we're twins! He's been such a strong supporter and I can lean on him no matter what. I don't know what I'd do without him.

I didn't go to work today - have a headache and a slight temp., all which is normal, so will just stay at home and take it easy. Get's a little boring, but I could never go to work either.

Take care eveyone - pray for much needed rain for us. Thanks for all of your support - I love checking the blog and reading the comments!

Love,
me

    Hi Mom,
I talked to Dad this AM and he told me that you were at home. I hope that you are feeling better soon. Dad asked Drew if he could cut his hair and Drew said yes. I know that he would let him do it! I bet he would change his mind when he saw yours for real.
    Love you.

    Hi Karen,

Sorry to hear that you didn't feel up to working today, but I'm sure you're glad it's not any worse than it is. Sounds like things have been going pretty good, all else considered.

On the "up" side, you sure have a lot of people who care so much for you. Like you said, you know how fortunate you are in that regard. What a HUGE comfort! Kind of like a big snuggly blanket of love and concern. And we're with you all the way! Sam is such a "character", he can see the humor in most things, which is just what you need about now, I'm sure.

I'll call you this week sometime, but if you ever don't want to visit, know that I understand and can call again another time.

    Linda

Hope you are doing well today. Another day without rain. I guess we will all just have to imagine it is raining out and enjoy the visions in our head.

Hugs and kisses to you all...

    Hi Mom,
Just checking in to see how you are doing and if there was an update on the blog. I didn't want to call because I know you are napping, it is almost two.
Evan and I were very busy yesterday. We had an appointment for Owen to get shots, that was with all the kids. then I had the fire marshall here doing his inspection for my day care license, Evan had hockey camp for an hour and then a baseball game. He was very tired but did AWESOME at both. He hit what should have been home run but they can only run two bases, unless they are the last batter. He was so excited and so were all of the coaches. He got the game ball. We are going to take it next week and get them all to sign it.
Hope you are feeling better. Did you get the photo of Owen I sent the other day???
    Love you.

    Mom,
That is a great verse that Aunt Hazel put on here. You should type it so it is in the blog and easier to read.
It was good to talk to you and I hope that your headache is better today.
All of the kids are getting very excited to come and see you and Dad. It will be a fun time.
    Love,
    Krista
