What a great week-end!!
Beautiful weather this week-end. We finally shut off our air, with much protest from Sam, but it's so nice to air out the house! He worked outside all day yesterday, doing yard work and helping the elderly couple across the alley. They always need something done, and we enjoy helping them out.
Then, we went to Bennigan's for Dinner last night - thanks you Gonzelez family, Morgan family and Ms. Brandon. We were total pigs, and brought home enough for lunch today!! It was so good, and even better knowing that we weren't paying for it. Thanks again for your generosisty.
I went to the fabric store and bought 2 pieces of fabric to experiment making scarves. 1 is lime green silk and the other is different shades of pink with glitter. WOWIE!
Wouldn't it be a nice if my girls surprised me some week-end and we just had a "girls" (and papa) week-end? They could come Friday late and go back and Sunday - would be a blast, and so good for grandma......We could do fun stuff and just hang out! Sounds like fun to me - maybe someone should tell them!!
Everyone have a good week-end and enjoy the sunshine!!!
Love,
Me

LIME GREEN!? Are you kidding me?
'member how you described shopping
for clothes for mom? That is me
when thinking of lime green...
Anyway, yes, it is a good week-end.
Sounds like you feel pretty good -
that helps. And yes, a time with all
the girls sounds great!
Keep having a good day/weekend. Oh,
thanks for the second verse to our old Sunday School birthday song.
If you put some money in the "jar"
I'll send you a pencil!!!

Lime green sounds great. I love that color. I will be sure to pass it on to your wonderful daughters...
I am glad you guys enjoyed your dinner. It is always nice to get to go out to eat and not pay. Love that.
We had a good weekend also. Really tired today though. I went and bought our new couches for Jaden's party on July 30. Our couches were done with their life. Time for them to move somewhere else.
Off to bed. Love you guys.

Hi Mom & Dad,
I have a minute so I thought that I could drop a note on the blog. Evan and I made chocolate chip cookies today for Ken's work picnic tonight. I'm not sure who ate the most cookie dough. All of the kids like it as much as I do so it is a wonder that there is any left to make cookies with.
Evan had an awesome game last-night. All of his hits went into the outfield. He slid into home and got his first raspberry. It was very funny!! He plays again tomorrow night and then off until the 6th. We got treats and drinks for tomorrow night.
We are going to spend the week-end in the yard and get ready for the fence. Ken is going to start diggin next week for the post holes. It will be so nice to get it in.
I dropped off the paperwork for my day care license and now I just wiat for the inspections and the background checks to get completed and I am all set to go.
I also get to fix the toilet. It is leaking between the tank and the bowl. That should be fun to do!!! Where is Dad when I need him?? Or Grandpa Krueger to say "Ralph, do you know what you are doing?"
All for now. I need to get toys packed for the picnic.
Love you both,
Krista
PS. Both kids have worn the same underpants and clothes all day!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Karen,
It sounds like you are facing adversity with your chin up, which is great. As to the lime green or pink sparkly scarf, I say, go for it girl !! Try whatever you like, be bold and daring, and experiment !!
I'm also glad to hear that you enjoyed your dinner out...so that means you can eat and feel well. That's good too.
Each day that passes is another step closer to being completely well again, free to live your life.
I'm thinking of you....

A lady from my church had cancer and she wore really cute hats. She found all different styles, shapes and sizes. You could go that route as well. That would be a way to change up life with scarves.
Glad you guys had a nice night out and thanks for the really cool card you sent. I knew you would do that because you are so great at showing your thanks.
Love, Steph

Sounds like things are going pretty well with you! Whether you wear a scarf or a hat, think of it this way, you'll never have a bad scarf/hat day-right!
Glad you enjoyed your dinner out! Thanks for your card on such beautiful stationary (if I do say so myself) :)!
