Arthritis, Arthritis, Arthritis
That's what the Dr. said today - and he threw in old age, but I didn't listen when he said that!! I go to the Rheumatoid Dr. the end of June, and he said that they would do a lot of blood work then, but as of right now, I'm cancer free, and it's just arthritis!! Yeah!! And, instead of going to see Dr. Mercer every month, I've graduated to every 2 months. I also had my port taken out last Thursday - it had quit working, so it's gone. Things are looking up!!!
I also started my new job on Tuesday, the 29th, at Alcoa Credit Union. Right now, we're doing a lot of sitting and reading training manuala and watching videos, but it seems like a great place to work and only 3 miles from home. Krista - do you remember Wayne Whitesides? His mom works there, and she recognized me the first day! He's in Atlanta. Small world.
All for now - just thought I'd post an update. We're looking forward to Stacy, Krista & E, A, A, & O coming down on the 8th to do the Race for the Cure. The on the 28th, Kelly, Ron & their family will get here for a week's visit. Can't wait to see them all!!

YEAH!! Glad it is Arthritis and not cancer!!
I hope you having your walking shoes broke in for the Race for the Cure!! Hopefully we have nice weather. It should be a wonderful walk. :-)
I am off to the gym for round two today!

CONGRATULATIONS...............You have arthritis:) What a relief that it is arthritis and not cancer. The arthritis should be VERY treatable, once they know for sure what kind it is. There will be activity involved also to keep things moving. I guess with Grandpa's "arthur", what did you expect. You have the same crooked finger, just not quite the length.
We are excited about the week-end that we will be there. I hope the weather is nice for the walk.
I, unlike Stacy, have not been to the gym AT ALL but I am thinking fo trying out the new ice cream scoop we got at CUB! And no, the Schwan's man didn't bring any ice cream, just other food.
