Karen's Journey

Hi All!
I took the hint from Krista, and decided to update my blog, although mine isn't nearly as interesting as hers is. I haven't gone puddle jumping or anything, but it was so nice to have the windows open yesterday and air the house out! That was short lived though - it's supposed to get down to 30+ tonight. Just a tease for spring, I guess. Can't wait.

Since I'm not working, I've been cleaning and cleaning closets and drawers. When Sam gets home this week-end, we'll have to make at least one trip to the Salvation Army. Good to get rid of stuff - where does it all come from?!? Next week - - the basement!

I haven't been looking too hard for a job - did have 2 interviews last week. Did get an offer for one that I didn't really care about, and still waiting on the other. I'm not holding my breath though, although it would be a great job. Sam keeps saying "not to worry", but that's easier said than done!

We had a good time with Sam's mom last week-end, celebrating her 85th birthday. She had a good time with all the kids and just getting out of Eagle Ridge for a few hours.

Stacy is coming down this week-end and going to celebrate St. Patty's Day with Jen & Aaron, then she leaves for Ireland on 3/22. On the 30th, we're heading up to Mankato for a hockey tournament that Evan is playing in. That will be fun.

My health is good - cpap machine is good - I continue to get good Dr. reports! Yeah!! Sam and I went to a Breast Cancer Survivors Breakfast a couple of weeks ago - very nice, and very humbling.

Take care everyone, and drop a note if you can.

Love,
Karen
