A Bump in the Road

Good Morning....

Well, we had a bump in the road this a.m. We went in for my first chemo treatment, but didn't get it done. When I told the Oncologist about my "vertigo", he didn't like that, and immediately ordered an MRI before we went ahead with anything. He wants to make sure that the cancer hasn't spread to my brain.......He thinks the chances of that are pretty slim, but at this point, doesn't want to take that chance. So, the MRI is this afternoon, and hopefully the chemo will be tomorrow a.m.

We were so revved up to get this first treatment over with, this is such a HUGE let down. So many mixed emotions, and so many thoughts of "what if it has spread to my brain"....Very scared right now, but so thankful that Sam is here with me.

We need your prayers....

Do you have the results from the MRI yet? Just remember God does have a plan for you what ever that may be. There are always pot holes and bumps but always a smooth road to follow.

We love you and prayed for you on and off all day.

    Love us,

    Good Morning,
I am so relieved that your MRI was normal and that there was no spreading found.
I hope that the first chemo treatment went well. It is so good that you can go through the first one together and both of you know how it works. The ports are a wonderful thing.
We are off to Evan's Bible school program this AM and then they are having ice cream Sundaes. That should be a mess.
Love you both and have a great week-end.
    Krista
